Jared Laney
President
As President of Kepora, Jared Laney has led the company to deliver measurable results for federal contractors, including reducing deployment times by 40% and driving over $1M in annual cost savings. With more than a decade of leadership experience, Jared has been instrumental in developing innovative software and data science solutions that meet the most demanding mission-critical requirements.
Jared’s expertise spans cutting-edge technologies, including Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence, as part of his Ph.D. studies at Virginia Tech. His technical acumen, combined with a passion for solving complex challenges, has helped Kepora become a trusted partner for government agencies and prime contractors alike.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. Jared’s mission is to empower his team to innovate and deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
Layton Johnson
SVP - Business Development
Layton Johnson brings a proven track record of building $50M in federal partnerships to his role as SVP of Business Development at Kepora. His extensive experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) as both a military service member and a contractor equips him with unique insights into the needs of government clients and prime contractors.
As a leader at Kepora, Layton specializes in creating scalable, compliant solutions that enable seamless integration with prime contractors and help clients achieve mission success. His technical background as a Software Engineer and his strategic vision have been pivotal in driving Kepora’s growth in the federal contracting space.
Layton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in ITS from Johns Hopkins University. He is dedicated to delivering innovative, results-driven solutions that make Kepora an invaluable partner for federal clients.
